Priscilla from India and of course by Child-Link trustee, Diana Butchers. They toiled all day and produced a fabulous meal for 80, with plenty left over for picnic lunch on the way to Leicester the next day!

Sarah Poli's beautiful restaurant was decorated with pictures of the orphanage children. Another very successful Indian Night raised about £2,000 and 11 new sponsors.

The roller coaster then moved to the Isle of Man, organised by our first Regional Representative, Jan Kirkham. Two school visits, two supporters' suppers,

and a visit to the fire service were crammed into the two days, along with a seminar by John at the Mill Conference Centre where yet more people were touched by the plight of the children and signed up as sponsors - there are now 21 sponsors on The Island!

John's other visits were to St. Mary's, Highley, where they are doing an imaginative Talents Scheme during Lent in aid of Child-Link; to Bude Christian Centre in Cornwall, kindly hosted by Roger & Jan Rowland; and a return to faithful friends at Langold Christian Centre, where yet more sponsors were signed up, bringing the total to 30.

John Arul's latest tour of the UK lasted 12 days and covered 1,750 miles! He took in Cornwall, Nottingham and the Isle of Man and much of England in between, beginning in London with an interview at Revelation TV, a follow up from last year's tsunami interview. Then it was off to a meeting with the Foundation who are funding one of four phases of the new home (see below).

At Stroud Roman Catholic Church John's talk was greatly enjoyed, and Father David Ryan has invited him to return to preach at a Sunday Mass. John, in his turn, invited David to India to speak to the Catholics in Madurai!
